History

1907

Toshichi Yamada founded Yamada Shoten as a distributor of Shimaya Tabi Honpo in Tsunaba-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka.

1941

Became the Kansai and western distributor of Nippon Yushi Kogyo Co., Ltd. (currently NOK Corporation)

1943

Delivery of various oil seals to Yahata and Tobata Steel Works of Nippon Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (currently Nippon Steel Corporation), and entry into the industry.

1964

Acquired the company name as Yamada Trading Co., Ltd.

1967

Started manufacturing and sales of high-pressure hydraulic pump. Building the foundation as a "manufacturing & trading company".

1969

Merged with Kyowa Kogyo Co., Ltd. Started operation at Fukuoka Plant.
Company name changed to Yamada industrial Co., Ltd.

1976

Head office building is newly built and relocated to Sanno, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka.

1983

Started manufacturing and sales of high-pressure precision cleaning equipment.

1987

"Rocky Light" Steel Forming Sedatives received the Director-General's Prize for Science and Technology.

1990

Relocated the Sales Headquarters to Tokyo to strengthen sales information gathering.
Company name is changed to RIX CORPORATION and established a new management philosophy.
Concluded a sole agency agreement is made between RIX and TOX Pressotechnik (Germany).
Started sales of the company's products (metal joining machines-TOX).

1991

Technology and Development Center is established to Develop High-Pressure Hydraulic Technologies and Products.

1992

“IC resin deburring equipment -AX” for the semiconductor industry received the Excellence Award from the Kyushu Industrial Technology Center and is selected by Semiconductor International Magazine as one of the best products developed in 1992.
Commercialization and start of sales of the metal deep hole deflashing device-RX for the automobile industry.

1996

Listed on the Fukuoka Stock Exchange.

1997

Manufacturing Development Fukuoka factory achieves ISO 9001 (Rotary Joint Product).

1998

Commercialization and start of sales of Flux precision cleaning equipment.

2000

Commercialization and start of sales of RXA, a fine burr removal and cleaning device for automotive precision parts.

2002

Ultra-high-speed and ultra-high-voltage rotary joints received the Kyushu Industrial Technology Center Award.
The Fukuoka factory was reorganized to manufacture high-speed spinning joints and develop products for semiconductors, and the Fukuoka Office was established.

2003

Acquisition of ISO 14001 certification at Manufacturing Development Fukuoka Office Established local sales subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand (RIX TECHNOLOGY (THAILAND) Co., Ltd.).
Established a local sales subsidiary in Shanghai, China (RIX SHANGHAI CORPORATION).

2006

Established manufacturing subsidiary in Chonburi, Thailand (SIAM RIX MANUFACTURING Co., Ltd.).

2007

100th Anniversary in Business.
Concluded an import sales contract with Danfoss (Denmark) for inverters and soft starters.

2008

Listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Nano atomization equipment (G-smasher) using the droplet collision method won the Technology Award at the Autumn Presentation of the Society of Powder Technology.
Established a local manufacturing subsidiary in Changzhou, China. (RIX CHANGZHOU MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. )

2010

Commercialized and started sales of nano atomization device (G-smasher).
Established Nexus CT Co., Ltd.

2012

Established a local sales subsidiary in Stuttgart, Germany (RIX Europe GmbH).

Acquired WOOJEON TRADING CO., LTD as a sales base for RIX own products and products in South Korea.

Established a sales subsidiary in Jakarta, Indonesia (PT RIX ORIENT INDONESIA).

Established a sales subsidiary in Mumbai, India (RIX INDIA TRADING&SERVICE PVT.LTD.).

Acquired Saeki Engineering Co., Ltd., which manufactures hydro pumps, rotary joints, rotary actuators, etc.

2019

Changed the name of the local subsidiary in South Korea (RIX WOOJEON KOREA CO., LTD).

2020

Dissolution of subsidiary Saeki Engineering Co., Ltd. due to transfer of production headquarters.

2021

Established RIX Machining and Manufacturing, LLC in USA as a sub-subsidiary.

2022

Converted CEM Co., Ltd. into a sub-subsidiary.

2023
